Chicago Botanical Gardens
The botanical gardens include 23 different gardens as well as three native habitats sections. This includes both endangered and native flora and fauna from the state of Illinois. A guided walking tour or a tram tour is also options to take in the entire garden. There are seven different themes to choose from when taking a walking tour, they include: The Greenhouses, Japanese Garden, Landscape Gardens, Seasonal Festivals, English Walled Garden, Rose Garden and Fruit & Vegetable Garden. Additional dining accommodations are provided as well as a picnic area for families. For those driving, the gardens are located at Lake Cook Road right off of Interstate 94.
